Multi Activity Day
UDYC held a Multi Activity Day for all those in 3rd to 6th class in National School on Saturday 16th March at St. Nicholas National School in Adare by kind permission. The day was well attended with 29 participants plus leaders. A large number of the participants came from Adare, Birr and Castlemaine national schools. The day was facilitated by Amy and Damian Shorten who were assisted by UDYC leaders.
The day focused on the story of St. Patrick. Included throughout the day there was lots of icebreaker games, songs, memory verses, drama, teaching, activity sheets, prayer, team challenges, food fun, quiz, crafts, take home books etc. In the evening the group enjoyed a delivery of Fab Pizza and chips from Norios in Adare. It’s was ‘M.A.D.’ craic!
