Ordination of Rev Caroline Morrow and Rev Clive Moore

The Ordination to the Priesthood of Rev Caroline Morrow and Rev Clive Moore took place in St Michael’s Church, Ballina on Sunday 19th September.

Despite Covid restrictions limiting the numbers able to attend, there was a goodly congregation present to support Caroline and Clive in this most significant step in their ministry to the people of God.

Bishop Patrick presided at the Ordination Service and a large contingent of Docesan Priests were also present to lay hands on the candidates at the moment of ordination. Bishop John Fleming was also present to lend his support which was greatly appreciated and a testimony to the regard in which both Caroline and Clive are held among the wider community. The Dean of TKA, Very Rev Alistair Grimason was the preacher. Canon Doris Clements read the Old Testament lessson, the psalm was led by Rev Martin Steel, Rev Clive Moore read the Epistle and Rev Caroline Morrow read the Gospel. The litany was led by the Archdeacon of TKA, Venerable Stephen McWhirter who also vested the newly ordained with their stoles.
