It is with sadness tinged with joy that we announce the departure to pastures new of The Venerable Alan Synnott, Archdeacon of Killala and Achonry and Incumbent of Skreen Group of Parishes in County Sligo on foot of his appointment to the Camlough Group of Parishes (Bessbrook) in Armagh Diocese.
Alan has been a part of the TKA clergy team since 2009. He brought joy, humour and a deep spirituality to his parish and the diocese as a whole and his larger than life personality will be sorely missed in The West.
We all wish Alan and Anne, his wife, many happy years of ministry and life in their new position.
Alan’s institution has been set for 22nd September.
