Legendary Achill man James Kilbane will be in Holy Trinity Church in Westport on Friday October 21 at 8pm with his full band for a great night of Country Gospel Music.
The night is a major fundraiser for repairs to this remarkable church, one of the glories of the West of Ireland.

James and his crew will delight with two hours of new and well-known Gospel songs popular with listeners across the country, and overseas as well. Their many fans always leave refreshed, happier and stronger for living and loving.
Holy Trinity church was built in 1872 and its decoration finished in 1890. It needs expensive work outside on its softer carved stone, and inside on its beautiful windows, murals, tiles and plasterwork. It’s a building increasingly used and loved by the people of the town and district, and we hope for great backing for this effort to raise some of the necessary. Two phases of outside repairs have been tackled already, and there’s much more to do.
