Reverend Maureen Ryan announced her retirement from active ministry early in March. The occasion was marked in St. Nicholas’ Church, Galway, where she has served in a particular way for many years, after the Easter Day Eucharist. A presentation was made and words of appreciation spoken for her dedication as Assistant Priest in the parish of Galway.
Maureen also held the post and title ‘Provost of Tuam’ and served the diocese in several capacities.
