An Inspirational Walk in the Burren
Visit a sacred site dating back to Early Irish Christian Monasticism. Tap into the spirituality of the landscape while retracing the footsteps of our ancestors, along green roads and limestone paths. Reconnect with nature in a karst landscape with hazel groves and natural meadows rich with Burren flora. Fire your imagination while participating in rituals based on the four elements. Walk silently in an ancient place that has energy and presence. Listen to and share insights, poetry and stories that bring you to a tranquil inner space.
As this day event will take you on an old pilgrims walk across the Burren – I would kindly advise that, in the interest of comfort, we first congregate at The Burren Perfumery V95 KC61 at 10am. From here we will then travel by road to the nearby Carran carpark and begin our walk which will take approximately 3 hours. There will be time to pause and pray on this pilgrim walk. Options will be available afterwards for those who wish to return to the Burren Perfumery (at their own cost) to sample the scents of the Burren that are all produced there and enjoy a late lunch/afternoon tea.
