On Sunday, 22nd October, 2023 the Introduction of the Reverend Canon Dr Richard Marsh as Priest-in-Charge of Killaloe, Inniscaltra, Stradbally and Tuamgraney and his Installation as Dean of Killaloe, took place at the Cathedral Church of Saint Flannan’s, Killaloe.   The Rt Revd Michael Burrows, Bishop of Tuam, Limerick & Killaloe Diocese presided.  The Lessons were read by Mr John Lefroy and a Chorister from Saint Canice’s Cathedral – the Cathedral Choir were present and provided wonderful singing.  The Reverend Lucy Green read the Gospel.   Ms Jessica Brown was Verger and Mr Angus Levie was the Crucifer.   Mr Martin Cooper and Ms Shirley Hartigan (Churchwardens from Saint Flannan’s and All Saints Castleconnell) processed.    Parish representatives from Saint Flannan’s, All Saints Castleconnell and Saint Caimin’s Mountshannon read pieces at the various points around the Cathedral.  The Dean of Ossory, the Very Revd Stephen Farrell preached.   Words of Welcome were heard from members of the ecumenical and civic communities with refreshments served after the ceremony, at the Lakeside Hotel, Killaloe.
