Galway \nFebruary 8th 2025\, 10.30am \nFor more information\, Contact Valerie at spiritualtourism@tlk.ie \nPlease go to tlk.ie/spiritualtourism/\n To book your place at this event\n To make payment for the bus\, if required\nNumbers are limited so early booking is advised to avoid disappointment\n___________________________________________________________________ \nDeadline for booking of this event is 1st February 2025\nFull description\nEmbark on a day to the Connemara National Park for a celebration of St Brigid.\nEnjoy a walk along a scenic trail through nature\, reflecting on her wisdom and spirit\nof renewal.\nTake the opportunity to watch / take part in making a St Brigid’s cross – A cherished\nsymbol of blessing and protection.\nRefreshments available at the Park\nThe centre has a café in which you can avail of a variety of teas\, coffees\, drinks and\nscones.\nAlso available is a varied menu for lunch (providing soup\, sandwiches\, salads\,\nlasagne and quiche).\nYou also have the option to bring your own lunch as there are picnic areas (under\ncover) in which you can avail off.\nThe day includes\nRound trip transportation from Galway city. (cost of this to be paid in full when\nbooking)\nThe day commences in Galway at 8.30am if travelling by bus.\nBus departs from the Connemara National Park 4.30pm for return trip to Galway city. \nOur walk will begin from the Park reception area at 11am.\nNot suitable for\n Children under 3\n People with mobility impairments\nMeeting points for the bus\n Bus stop at back of Galway Cathedral (nearest the bridge to University)\n Bus area at Hessions Bar\, Oughterard\nImportant to note\n Please bring suitable comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing\n No food/ hot drinks are to be consumed on the bus\n There will be free time to enjoy the park when there. \n  \nPost A day to celebrate St Brigid
